Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actress. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor. Bassett grew up in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett relocated with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom, who was separated from their father. Bassett was in high school when she watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal to become an actor been born. Yale University New Haven Connecticut granted her a bachelor's degree (1980) with a focus on African American study, and an advanced degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Graduated from Yale School of Drama School with a master's degree of African American studies, in 1980. Angela Bassett has been cast in one the leading roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
